However, recently, new developments have taken place in the world of direct marketing because now even emails are offered, and companies can make direct email campaigns as well.

In this process companies, purchase lists of emails that are likely to be interested in their products, and instead of mailing advertisements and coupons, they email the advertisements and coupons and have links to website catalogues too.

This email campaign phenomenon makes marketing much cheaper, as all stationary and postage costs are completely eliminated. This saves companies thousands of dollars on every mailing, and if they mail every week, the savings are tremendous.
