Easter Holiday Wishes!

by Jacklyn Chen

You must be thinking of what you should do in your joyful Easter holiday and you must be in great holiday mood already, right? First wish you a very fruitful Easter! It has been a long time since we have a nice break during Christmas time (did I have any holiday after that? I forget, my life is in a mess), Easter is really a savior, at least for me it it, it saves me from my tension and stressful working days (from days which I sleep around 11:00pm, nice right? But I need to wake up at 3am for finishing my work!)! How nice is Easter holiday! But Easter should not holiday, huh?

We know bits about Easter’s history. The son of God, Jesus Christ, was sent by God to arrive the world and to save us from all the wrong things we have done in the past. Through his advent and death and rebirth, Jesus Christ sacrificed himself to rescue human beings. This is how Easter came to us. The phrase “Feliz Semana Santa!” is a phrase s by people in Spain to wish their friends and relatives a joyful Easter. In Spanish, “Feliz” equals to “happy”, “Semana” equals to “week” and “Santa” means “Saints”, The Spanish people reserve a week for Jesus’ rebirth! However, their Easter holiday also only lasts for a few days! (What a great pityHave they ever thought of prolonging it?) But what if I am not Christian? How are these things relevant to me apart from as vacation and eating Easter eggs?

What Jesus brought with us during his advent and rebirth and until now is rejoice, blessings and to forgive. Easter is the best period for us to avoid making further mistakes by reflecting the passed us and to give ourselves a reborn by learning how to forgive those who hace acted as devils to us.

Even for non-Christians, Easter brings us a peaceful feeling, love and harmony. It gives us good blessings. By doing self-reflection and forgiving those we dislike, we give ourselves chance to experience rebirth, psychologically and spiritually.

When we review own mistakes and try to improve ourselves, we develop our potentials to the full; when we know how to forgive others, we are bring a happy life to ourselves as we have a relief.

In this festival which is full of blessings and love, how can we colour our holiday?

We should share the blessings with our friends and relatives, by whatever methods you like, giving decorated Easter eggs, sending emails and very well-designed Pencake ecards to show our love towards our beloved ones.

Enjoy your holiday, hang out with friends and have party times! Then have a sweet dream! And after that? Kick away all your mistakes and hatred away from your mind and be a new you after Easter! Feliz Semana Santa!

Personalize Your BlackBerry With This Unique Theme…

by Thom Yarbrough

I get it – you want your MacBerry and you want it now. What’s a MacBerry? It’s what you get when you download BlackBerry themes to make your device look and feel more like your Mac.

If you’re a Mac user and you use a BlackBerry, you probably know a lot about the world’s favorite smart-phone. RIM (Research in Motion), the company that makes the BlackBerry, or as some people like to call it, the ‘CrackBerry’, is a worldwide phenomenon. RIM has sold 26 million BlackBerrys last year alone. RIM earned $3.4 billion in the last quarter of their fiscal year, which ended in February, 2009. That’s just during the three month period from December through February! Obviously, they’re doing something right.

Another company, PocketMac, is run by the Goggin brothers, Terence and Tim. One brother runs the design and engineering part of the business. The other brother takes care of marketing. They’re complete Macintosh junkies, who are always dreaming up new ways to use the Macintosh computing platform. They gave you the PocketMac, which is the Mac BlackBerry synchronization system. Now they want to give you the opportunity to get a MacBerry, that is, to make your BlackBerry look and feel like your Mac, with their download called PocketMac Themes for BlackBerry.

You can pick the BlackBerry Theme that’s compatible with your particular device, whether you have a BlackBerry 7100, 7200, 8100, 8300, 8700, or 8800 series.

You get the BlackBerry theme that’s compatible with your particular device, whether you have a BlackBerry 7100, 7200, 8100, 8300, 8700, or 8800 series.

When Research In Motion came out with the BlackBerry device, they knew Mac users would want to jump onboard to get the best handheld phone/computer device available.

When they got to know the BlackBerry device, they knew Mac users would want to join the millions of people who use the best handheld phone/computer device available.

That’s why they designed Mac BlackBerry Themes. They’re just one example of the many ways the creativity and ingenuity of small companies make technology more user friendly.

3 Simple Steps To Look Up Someone’s Email Address

by Kurt Naulaerts

It can be very hard if you are to look for someone’s email address that is not included in your mailing list. We always encounter this especially now that there are many unknown email addresses. And more often these unknown emails are from spammers and scammers who bring viruses to computers and con innocent people. Definitely, you would want to find who these criminals are by looking up someones email address.

What if, you want to look for a long lost friend or a person who you know will help you with your business ventures? These are just ones of the numerous reasons why we would want to look up someones email address. And these things can easily be accomplished if we are equipped with the right techniques and resources on how to locate a person’s email address. Here are three ways:

Ask Someone

Try to ask somebody of the email address of a person of your interest. You couldn’t be harmed in doing this; instead you will get lucky if you are able to get the answer. This is the typical thing one person would immediately think. Of course, you can ask the email address from a common friend, a former classmate who happened to be your long-lost friends classmate also and a member of the family of your relative in distant place who you want to talk to.

Look from Various Social Networks

There are many social networks these days, such as MySpace, Facebook, Netscape and Squidoo from where you can lookup someone’s email address. It will be easier to search for the target email address there because many people use social networks more than they do with the emails. These social websites allow you to create your profiles, thereby allowing some people looking for an unknown email address to be able to search via social networks. You just need to go to a specific search engine such as Google and do the Google search. You can enter the full name of a person or any nickname that she might be using.

Locate with Private Email Lookup

Nowadays, you can notice that there are many private email lookup providers in the internet. Sometimes, we may wonder why the spammers are able to know our email address, besides the fact that it should be confidential. We should now know that upon subscribing from different services online, such as magazines, credit card, or even joining the online dating site, we are letting the telemarketers and spammers know our email addresses and other information such as name, phone number and exact address. So, we should be cautious about giving out information easily.

But how do these things happen? It is because those companies who have the database of the information about the subscribers share this information and then they get paid. It is sad to think that it happens but we should admit it does.

Email scams: Phishing,Email Viruses, and other E-mail attacks

by Stephen Grisham Jr.

Phishing Scams

Phishing scams are created to fool you into giving out secret information that can be used for the con artist’s benefit. They are looking for things like your credit card number or passwords to websites, and sometimes even things like your bank account number and social security number. This information is intended to swipe your money.

One kind of phishing email that you might not notice: An email that appears to be authentic from your bank, credit card or another type of financial business. You are asked to provide updated or new information using a link to their website. Since it appears very official, many people click on the link, travel to the website and log in with their password. Of course, it appears the same as your bank’s website, although it is actually a fraudulent one. This is the reason why it is very difficult to notice these scamming emails. Everything appears as it should. One warning sign you should take note of, is that legitimate financial companies will not request that you update your data like this.

Tax Refund Email Scam

The IRS has issued a warning about a tax refund email scam. You get an email allegedly from the IRS saying you are due a tax refund. You are told to click on a link to the “IRS” website. On this page, they request your social security number and other personal information, so you can gain access to your account. The email is a scam and it was created to steal your personal information.

The IRS Does Not Send Emails

According to their website, the IRS does not contact taxpayers through email. They don’t use email to discuss your tax refund. The only approved forms of communication between taxpayers and the IRS are by telephone or via the US Postal Service. Avoid falling for this scam.

Other Email Scams

The email from Nigeria scam — Obviously this is somewhat different, but the main point of the scam is an email is sent from a person who claims they are trying to transport money out of a certain country — commonly Nigeria — but there is trouble with taxes, crooked law officials, or other problems that require a big amount of money or stop this money from being taking out the country completely. At this point, you are asked to help. In exchange for your help, you will be offered a large portion of up to millions of dollars.

Various Types Of Bad Email

Another type of dangerous emails are email attachments embedded with viruses. Or emails that tempt you into clicking on a link where your computer is infected with a Trojan Horse or some other virus.

Avoiding Losses

Good sense is one of the best defenses to guard against Phishing, viruses and various email scams. What would help the most with email phishing is to make a report of any email which doesn’t look correct. If you get an email from someone requesting you to do anything questionable, tell the police.

You can fight email phishing by reporting suspicious looking email. If you are asked to do anything suspicious in an email, notify the authorities. If you didn’t request a person or company to email you, be careful when clicking on their links. Always make sure that your anti-virus protection is current, have it set to scan all emails that come in, and use “live protection” while you are surfing. Also, purchase some other malware blocking software if your anti-virus doesn’t have it. Windows Defender is excellent in preventing adware or other malware from sneakily installing itself on your computer unknown to you.
