Building Your List With Give Away Ventures

With the awareness of the importance of list building, comes a recent Internet Marketing trend which was started just a couple of years ago for the mutual benefits of all Internet Marketers and mailing list owners.

It’s really quite simple, and in fact, the autoresponders make getting the message to your potential customers those seven times possible. On the Internet, without the use of autoresponders, you probably could not achieve that. Too often, marketers make the mistake of literally slamming the potential customer with a hard sales pitch with the first autoresponder message – this won’t work.

Each participating partner contributes a gift to the event. The gift can be a free product, membership pass or a product he is already selling (if he is kind enough to offer into the event).

When you load up your autoresponder, you should try to load it with at least 52 messages. This way, you”ll something to send for each week of the year. If you have trouble loading your autoresponder with this many messages or articles, there are places online where you can get your material for free. If you simply don’t have the time, you can always start with a few messages then go back and add more later.

Once you have your autoresponder preloaded with messages or articles, you”ll need to set up your signature. Your signature will be displayed at the bottom of every message your autoresponder sends, and should be your name and link to your business. You can also add a short description of your business as well, which will let clients or interested customers know a bit of information about your business. Your name and link to your business will go a long way, letting your customers know that you are professional.

Once you have everything set up, all you need to do is start sending out emails. Your autoresponder can be set up to send messages automatically. You can also send out emails daily, weekly, or monthly if you prefer. Almost all autoresponders are flexible, easy to use, and will send out your messages when you decide. Once your subscriber list starts to build up, and you get more email addresses to your autoresponder, you”ll quickly see that it’s very beneficial. After you have used your auto-responder a few months – you won’t be able to imagine your business without it.

10 Steps To Make The Most Of Autoresponders

So you’ve worked hard in creating your website, regularly adding content to it, and building links and increasing search engine placements. The next step, that many overlook, is to capture your visitors by using an Autoresponders.

Here’s a scenario for you to consider. A visitor finds your site through one of the many ways that you have been carrying out to generate traffic, and finds just what they are looking for and is about to make a purchase. They are distracted while at their computer and leave the site.

Although the example above is hypothetical, the reality is that visitors may leave your site for a number of reasons without you making the most of your opportunity. That is unless you are using an autoresponder.

Capturing the email address of this visitor would have allowed you to contact them at a later date to potentially make the sale that you originally missed out on. Autoresponders are remarkable, flexible programs that do much more than just automatically answer your emails. I’ll outline below a number of ideas that you can use to creatively and productively use your autoresponder to transform the casual visitor into a profitable customer.

1) Publish a newsletter.

High quality autoresponders will manage subscriptions and follow-up with those interested prospects that have signed up. This allows you to keep your autoresponder list updated about your products or services, and also build your reputation as an expert in your chosen business area.

2) Contact affiliates.

If you have an affiliate program you can easily contact your affiliates to inform them of any offers you may be running, or to provide them with promotional material that they can use to increase their commissions and your sales. You could provide any tips and advice that you feel would benefit your affiliates.

3) Promote advertising opportunities.

You may provide, or plan on providing advertising on your website, ezine or newsletter. You could setup your autoresponder to send out information about the cost of advertising, and how to find out more information. Of course you could also notify your list of any advertising discounts or offers that you may have.

4) Write reviews.

Write reviews on products and services that you found to be useful. Send this review out with your autoresponder along with your affiliate link to the product.

5) Provide email courses.

Provide valuable information in the form of email courses. These can be setup to send out each lesson at certain intervals. It is important not to solely provide a sales pitch but to provide quality content. You can then provide a paragraph at the end of the email course to entice the prospect to make a purchase of your product.

6) Distribute free reports.

Give your visitors a taste of the information that you provide, and the quality of your product and service. Again, do not make these out to be sales letters, or you stand to lose customers instead of gain.

7) Product tasters.

Provide your prospects samples of your product, whether it be an ebook, software, course, membership, etc. You can capture email addresses from your website this way, and follow-up to make the complete sale.
8) Provide hidden links to pages.

In exchange for a visitors email address, you could provide a link to an affiliate page containing promotional material. You can then gather a list of visitors that are interested in becoming your affiliates.

9) Order page autoresponder.

Provide a form on your order pages that allows visitors to be kept notified of special offers or discounts. This offers a great opportunity to create a mailing list that contains the names of people who are already your customers, and who are interested in any future products.

10) Distribute articles.

Allow visitors to sign up to your autoresponder in order to receive articles. There are many ezine publishers and webmasters looking for content, and this allows you to provide this content whilst including your bio and description of your service or product in a resource box.

Here I’ve provided ten examples of how autoresponders can be used creatively, but there are many more. Autoresponders are valuable to all internet marketers, and you should seriously consider using one if you do not already.

Marketing Using An Autoresponder

Autoresponders are becoming more popular these days! We cannot deny that autoresponders are one of the best marketing tools around. This article will let you in on the secret of using autoresponders for marketing.

Autoresponders and email marketing are linked. Email marketing allows you to interact with your customers in the most personal way possible. With email marketing, your clients feel like you’re talking to them directly. Sending a newsletter to your clients keeps them in touch with you, it’s that simple. The main problem is that you can’t send to many the “normal” way. A customer would feel hurt if he sees his name up there on the address bar with 20 or so other people. How can you write a personalized message to everyone on your email marketing list? That’s where autoresponders come in.

Bulk email sending is one marketing strategy that works. Prior to the development of a functional email marketing software, marketers and business owners have hired customer service staff to send your email messages to anyone who’s interested in their products. Bulk email sending used to be expensive, but not anymore.

You can create one autoresponder series that all your customers will receive. You can do this by first asking for the potential customer’s email address, and his permission to receive mail from you. In a sense, the fact that you asked for permission means you won’t be spamming the person, which is important to your survival as a serious internet marketer.

You can create your autoresponder series on specific dates. This is needed if you want your customers to receive your mail before your promotion ends or starts. Whether it’s just a simple heads up for your customers or the biggest event in your business, a good autoresponder software is what you need to get the word out. Choose an autoresponder software with good deliverability.

An autoresponder system will also take care of the code you can paste on your website. There’s no need for you to discover what html or javascript looks like.

Operating your own email marketing system can be challenging if you encounter bugs or if you inadvertently miss one crucial element in the installation. A good autoresponder software service must be able to alleviate your stress, not add to it.

Autoresponders is a great way that you can learn Internet marketing strategies. So, be like Mike Filsaime and start your own emailing today!

Writing An Autoresponder-Friendly Sales Pitch

Writing an Autoresponder-Friendly Sales Pitch is usually done in the form of an email. The goal of this email is to get the reader to click on a link in the body of the email. The link may lead to a landing page or to the web site of a retailer or company.

There is more than one way to write a friendly sales pitch email successfully. The intended customer base influences this. One type is for those who have already bought before. You want these people to buy again. The other type is aimed at prospective buyers, whom you want making their first purchase.

Regardless, your only aim is for the reader to click your link. In order for this to happen, the email must establish trust. Only after this will a potential customer click.

Perhaps the most important of the autoresponder is the subject line. It has to look like it is not canned. It has to provoke. It should intrigue. It should stand out from all the others. And it is critical to your success. If the reader does not open the email, the chances of your making a sale are zero.

Opening your email should be the highlight of the day for whoever reads it. You want them thinking of your email while sitting in traffic. And you have to do that without coming across as too aggressive or insincere.

To keep the interest, you cannot just directly beg for the sale. You must incorporate anecdotes, narratives, similes, and other types of stories into the sales message. It should never be impersonal, like the reader is just a nameless one of millions who will receive the same pitch. The language should familiar, casual, and relevant.

Do not go overboard, as too much of a good thing is not good. Personal stories are usually effective. So are stories having to with eccentric friends or family members. Whatever it is or however it is done, do not forget to keep guiding the reader toward the click. And do not waste the time with irrelevant or way off topic subjects.

Your invented and relevant topic should revolve around getting the click. You have something they have been looking for. Find out why it is the reader thinks he or she needs what you have, and you will be double platinum before you blink.

Whatever is being sold is introduced next. Again, it is the cure all for what ills, the hero, so to speak. You must outline its benefits so enticingly that the reader is practically jumping through the monitor to acquire your product.

To further entice the reader, bonuses, special offers, limited time give aways always serve as icing on the cake or the final layer of frosting. These just add that extra touch to convince the reader that she or he is really getting what she or he paid for.

Lastly, your email should not be more than 700 words in length. Regular fonts, regularly sized, are best. The style and font should be conservative, but do not hesitate to try different themes and storytelling styles, either. What works always changes, and you should be so prepared.

Autoresponders along with Shopping Cart Integration

When you set up your autoresponder to send a message to anyone that has placed an order, there are several things that should be included in the message. This is an advantage to your customer, and to let them know about other packages that you have or special items that you are applicable. You should not miss this opportunity.

Do not try to get your thank you sales message on the same autoresponder as the consumers email receipt. Putting the sales message on an email that is automatically sent to allocate the customer access to their purchase is also a bad idea – that would go better with the receipt. Make sure thank you sales message is a message that is sent out all by itself, so your customer can adjust solely on that!

Thank the customer for their current purchase. Tell them how much their possess will help them, and then tell them about other available products that work well with the one that they just purchased, or that are similar to the one that they just purchased in some way. For instance hair conditioner operates with hair shampoo. Vacuum cleaner bags or carpet powder functions well with vacuum cleaners. Just let them know about the multiple products that you offer that will compliment their purchase in some way.

The important thing is to not let your customer get away without further contact! Think about being in a brick and mortar outlet store. When you go up to the counter to pay, there are many items there for sale. These items are meant to be picked up as last minute purchases, or impulsive purchases. Your thank you sales letter serves the same intention.

Don’t make the mistake of bombarding your buyer! You can frequently send them at various times information about your specials after they have made a purchase through you, but emailing them on an each day basis with your offers is not good business! Use your autoresponder responsibly! Make sure that your autoresponder is set up to handle automatic remove requests, and make sure that the information that you are sending your customers is of importance to them.
