List Building: Five Steps For Getting Good Results

Your very own mailing list is the most critical asset you will have as an online business owner. The amount of traffic you direct towards your ‘opt-in’ along with the number of subscribers on your list will have a direct impact on how successful you are in making a significant income online. In many ways, your list represents the size of your market reach. As such, list building should be one of your top priorities when developing and implementing your marketing strategies. Here are 5 ways for you to approach list building effectively.

1. Regardless of the marketing strategy you are implementing, make list building your first priority. You should consider your approach to marketing if that is not the case today. Essentially, when marketing your business through any medium such as pay-per-click, social media or video, list building should be part of those efforts. For example, by sending the viewer of your marketing campaign to an opt-in form.

2. To get subscribers, you need visitors need to see your opt-in, so send your visitor to an opt-in page. Or, if you are using a blog, make sure your opt-in draws visitors attention. It probably sounds obvious, but I have seen marketers drive traffic to information pages without an opt-in. There is no list building without an opt-in form, so have one and make it prominent in every page.

3. Have an enticing offer. Otherwise, visitors will not find any interest in subscribing to your list. A product you have created or an email course not found anywhere else could entice a visitor if they find the information valuable and relevant. List some of the benefits of subscribing so they can get an idea of what to expect when they are added to your list. Think value and relevant.

4. Another thing must do is create a relationship be you and your subscribers. View them individuals you communicate with on a regular basis to provide them with information and valuable resources and recommendations. Doing so would help ensure that a trustful relationship is build and that they want to remain subscribers.

5. In your emails, always ask your subscribers to do something. Whether its following a link for more information or viewing a particular video. This is part of monetizing your list as you build a relationship and continue to send messages. I you provide value to your subscribers, they should be inclined to take action.

If you follow these principles, you will begin to see success in your list building efforts.

Boost Your Internet Network Marketing Success With These Email Tips

Internet network marketing is work. There is no two ways about it. It takes time to research the best places to market, time to write the ad copy, time to put the ad copy into the autoresponder and time to monitor and analyze an ad’s performance.

Email is an integral part of Internet marketing strategies. Most people have no idea what they are doing and most of the emails that are sent out are automatically put into the trash, unopened. There are some things you can do to increase the chances of the reader opening the email and then responding to it.

The Subject Line

The subject line has to attract attention without being vulgar, making exaggerated claims or lying. Do not send email with subject lines having to do with sex. Do not use subject lines that have nothing to do with the actual product. We have all received email with subject lines similar to these: “Re: Your Ebay account…” and “You are a winner…” These kinds of email subject lines are not just annoying, they are unethical and do nothing to build goodwill between you and your list.

Do not yell at your potential customer by using ALL CAPITAL LETTERS IN YOUR SUBJECT LINE. As you can see, the effect of using all capital letters is quite jarring.

Use the word “free” in your subject line. Whatever you decide to give away must be immediately useful to the reader. Do not waste your time sending junk.

Start your subject line with the word “stop, ” as in “STOP! Free software program to automate your email list.” People are conditioned to follow the “stop” command. The customer may not open your email (unless you have a punchy, enticing subject line following the word “stop”), but they will almost automatically read any subject line followed by the word “stop.” They just cannot help themselves.

Asking your potential customers a question in the subject line is also a good way to encourage them to open and read your email. Something like “Do you suffer from ________?” or “How long has it been since you __________?”

Starting the subject line with the reader’s name is a sure way to get your subject line noticed. People really do respond to things much more favorably if their names are used. Be sure that you enter the variable field correctly.

Be authentic and ethical in all of your Internet network marketing. Keep in mind your long-term goal is to build trust and good will between the people on your list and yourself. So, make your subject lines catchy and enticing without resorting to exaggeration or outright lying.

The Internets Hottest Trend: Personalized Audio, Video Auto Responder Campaign Software

I often get asked what is the new and most profitable trend in e-commerce and I believe it has to be video content. So I am excited to see more new technology emerge that can embed video right into retail email, and seeing businesses experimenting with it. Anna Yeaman reports one retailer boasting a 20-27% click through rate without linking to video, and 51-65% with links to video. And Forrester Research reports video in email can increase click through by 2-3X.

As Mr. Brownlow explains in his update on video in retail email, early use of video in email was really linking text to a video hosted on the Web. Now we see this all shifting to a more filter friendly email format.

Some retailers like Sears got clever and converted video to animated gifs. and Anna Yeaman has a DIY tutorial on how to convert video to animated gif. The gif images are not as smooth as video but nevertheless effective.

Whats so tough about embedding actual video in email?

Deliver-ability is the issue. Large video attachments are often a flagged as spam, and ISPs (Internet service providers) block complex data including Javascript for security reasons.

Javascript sending video in an e-mail has been blocked by many ISP’s and is a challenge for deliver-ability, since large video attachments often alert spam filters. The way that the NewF5 system gets around this issue is that their e-mail maintains the highest “white listing” available for an email provider and is a paid service that does not go through typical e-mail filters.

How to beat getting labelled as spam

This month, the NewF5 auto responder software launched for individual and small business owners and has in place a spam compliance policy that insures that deliver-ability stays the highest possible in the mass email business. This high deliver-ability includes there newsletter and email campaign software too.

The NewF5 email marketing program locks down the bit of code that calls the video server, allowing actual video code to live in the email rather than just a placeholder. Many small businesses are already claiming very positive results.

NewF5 Testimonials

Google announced it would support Youtube links in email for Gmail accounts. Its not an embed, rather Gmail recognizes Youtube code and displays the video in the email ” provided that the Gmail user has enabled the feature through Google Labs. Its unlikely the average Gmail user is going to turn this on so the marketing value is lost” so don’t get too excited. Of course using gmail or any other free system defeats the purpose of email marketing which is automating the tracking and converting of your valuable leads.

Other Features That distinguish the NewF5 Email Campaign Software from a Free web mail are:

1. Video and audio creation, playlists, picture galleries, media storage and media publishing;

2. Full email client with video, audio, and template integration for individual follow up

3. Mobile sync

4. Lead capture

5. Auto-responder

6. Customized template creation

7. Email delivery reporting and analytics.

My personal experience with the NewF5 autoresponder software has been above expectations. Using this system I have built 3 businesses in 5 countries from the comfort of my home office. The New F5 system is what I believe to be a must have tool for any business competing in there perspective markets.

The NewF5 system is more than just autoresponder software it includes tools that make it a total internet marketing systemNewF5 Demonstration. autoresponder software and much more… Grab a totally unique version of this article from the Uber Article Directory

Network Marketing Lead Generation Secrets

Every business needs a continual flow of quality leads in order for business to grow and thrive. Without leads your business will die. MLM lead generation will take some work, but with a bit of effort and patience you will be able to create a consistent flow of leads in your funnel.

Article Marketing

If you enjoy writing, you probably want to consider writing articles about topics that relate in some way to your business or product. If you are not so thrilled with writing, you can hire a writer for very little cost.

Once the article is written, it should be submitted in slightly varied forms to article directory websites. Your author’s resource box should contain information about how the reader can find out more about your product, including a website address.

Website owners in search of quality content for their websites will come to the article directories. If your article is good quality, chances are one or more site owners will copy your article, resource box included, and add it to his or her site. This is exactly what you want. If you sent your article to 100 directories and 25 people visited those directories and took your article for their website, that is 125 new links to your product via your author’s resource box.

Email Campaigns

The simplest way to use email to generate leads is to use a signature line on every email you send out. It should have information similar to the author’s resource box you created for article marketing.

You can also do email campaigns that are more involved. Using an autoresponder, you can mail information directly to your list. Keep in mind that there are very strict anti-spam laws in place. If you spam, expect to be contacted about it and reprimanded.

Pay-Per-Click

Pay-per-click (PPC) ads are sometimes seen as the holy grail of Internet marketing. This is true and false. If done right, PPC ads can generate many leads. If done poorly, all you will get from your PPC campaign is empty pockets. Carefully monitor your PPC campaigns because it is very easy to find yourself owing thousands of dollars to the PPC company.

Forums

Forums are a fun and easy MLM lead generation technique to use with your business. Take some time to get to know the rules and types of conversations a particular forum has before you comment or ad a posting yourself. Once you feel comfortable and post, use your signature line to discretely advertise your business in much the same way as your author’s box in article writing.

ComF5 is Changing Video Email Advertising

Technologies are an evolving force changing the way messages about products and brands are delivered and received. Marketers are looking to enhance their customer relationships by using new web solutions which provide online collaboration, networking, and user-created content. Emerging 3.0 Internet technologies and channels like video email, mobile marketing, automated mailing cards just to name a few offer new challenges and opportunities for effective relationship marketing.

Today marketers are discovering ways to leverage the one-to-one nature of email with the one-to-many reach of Web 2.0 and the newer 3.0 technologies, channels to drive sales, opinion, Newsletter opt-ins, web visits, downloads, registrations, ad views, ad sales, donations, or whatever else defines success for the organization.

Tremendous possibilities await those marketers who are able to leverage the proven power of email with the advances that Web 3.0 brings to relevant content, context, and timing to deliver significant improvements in business relationships.

Email 3.0 Prevails

In this age of user-created content, email hasnt lost its luster. In fact, with almost universal penetration ” 97% of consumers according to Forrester Researchs Email Marketing Comes of Age ” email is the most popular activity online. Email has certainly proven it can engage and move a prospect through the purchase process by delivering information that is tailored to the buyers needs. According to the Direct Marketing Association, emails ROI will surpass $45 for every dollar invested in 2008.

Exact Targets 2008 Channel Preference Survey revealed that nearly two-thirds of those surveyed said they had made a purchase because of a marketing message received through email. And Jupiter Research reports that email marketing is growing from 1.2 billion in 2007 to 2 billion in 2012.

Successful marketers recognize that email remains crucial for creating relevant and engaging customer communications, and they are looking for opportunities to leverage Web 3.0 video email communications systems to transform customer interactions and differentiate their brands.

One example is Harley Davidson and Budweiser, which harnesses the power of brand influencers through a VIP program created for the most active subscribers to the companys loyalty program. Consumers who forward the emails or demonstrate other acts of evangelism are identified and rewarded with a special VIP program within the companys primary loyalty program. The company sends special coupons and other incentives via video email to this select group to show that they are appreciated and to further engage them with the brand.
